Pads and tampons should not be free b/c it does cost money to make them, however they should be cheaper and not taxed. It's a necessary item like food. One could argue you don't need to use a tampon over a pad, I suppose that's preference. If you're talking in a public restroom, it would be nice to see free pads/tampons there.
